Salaries of law officers increased

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has given consent for raise in law officers’ salaries.

According to a statement issued by Prime Minister House, the additional sum would be provided from the budget of Ministry of Law and Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

As per new package, Attorney General would get Rs 3, 68,186 with superior judicial allowance of Rs 1, 70625 with 68000 house rent. In this way, Attorney General would get more than Rs 0.6million per month.

Meanwhile Additional Attorney General has also been facilitated with graceful package of Rs 5, 48,845.

Deputy Attorney General would get Rs1, 50, 000 while Standing Council would receive Rs 100,000.
